Sunflower was on display at the Calgary Stampede Western Showcase in advance of the Auction this year (2015). It was sold to, the highest bidder Thursday July 9th.
The auction was a new experience for me as you don’t know how things will go, especially since Calgary has experienced a downturn from the lower price of oil.
My art sold and I did good feel pretty good about the auction, I g0t huge exposure as well! The new owners should enjoy this happy piece although I miss this art as it was on my wall prior to the Stampede.
