Acrylic on Canvas | 50″ w x 42″ d | 127 x 106.68 cm
This larger sized painting was originally created as a mountain picture with streams and crags in the foreground but when someone at a show saw it they told me they saw the orcas. This is what I now see…
Twisting – turning – falling… see the orcas breaching the ocean. The water twists and turns as these beautiful beings gather. Or maybe this is butterfly wings? That’s the beauty of abstract paintings. People see what they see rather than something already there.
This picture is hanging at World Bistro @worldbistroedgemont so if you visit Edgemont’s GYMVMT Club, it’s just inside the doors. 7222 Edgemont Blvd. NW, Calgary.
