Polar Ice | 48″ x 72″
I have always loved the outdoors more than inside and I love seeing animals in the wild. It just blows me away. I haven’t seen a wild polar bear before – I’ve seen them in the zoo but the last painting I did made me want to expand my art.
This one is a bit different though. I originally painted the polar bear then decided that it would look great in 3D. So if you have been on this site before you can see some carved paintings. I haven’t done this for a while and had carving material in storage so I decided to carve the bear. If you saw instagram or facebook there were a number of fumbles along the way but voila! A carved polar bear appears on this painting.
