High Relief Sculpture of 2 wild Alberta Stallions. I had privilege to use several photographs of Alberta horses by Photographer Duane Starr. These young stallions are greeting each other and they are happy to meet then go back to their herds. What is really interesting about these two is that they are quite different and the right horse shows as a draft variety of horse, showing that its ancestors probably came from the farming community.
There are several herds in Alberta and many of them came from horses set free over generations. These horses show a great attitude and as long as the Alberta government butts out they can remain free.
