I did this painting last spring and I didn’t like it! I left it on the art room wall knowing I had to adjust it. I just didn’t know what I should do and looked at it everyday for months. I started playing with the paint recently and after several layers I now love it. It’s just so happy!
It was a picture of a tree in my back yard that I call the messy tree. It is an ornamental apple tree and is always dropping apples or is just plain messy but for a week a year it is glorious! This now does the tree justice although it’s still abstract it does give the right impression.
